Edinburgh here we come….

Flying out to Scotland for a Hen Do, I was super excited for a few nights away with the girls but I was not prepared for how bloooody gorgeous Edinburgh City was!  Charlotte (our glamour puss bride) picked out a perfect time for us to go as the Christmas markets were there and the whole place was lit up and super sparkly, I came home feeling a lot more Christmassy than when I left!

Everything had been planned and booked in advance by Beth (bridesmaid) and she couldn’t have picked out any better venues for us!  We crammed loads in and managed to go to some really cool places 🙂

First stop was the Voodoo Rooms for cocktails and dinner (below), I posted a pic of this up on Facebook and people already started commenting that it was their favourite place in Edinburgh so definitely a good choice 🙂

Our next stop we had a table booked in Panda & Sons a speak easy quirky cocktail bar.  When you arrive outside it looks like an old fashioned Barbers Shop, then going downstairs is a secret bookcase which you walk through to get to the bar area! I fell in love with this straight away! Such a funky place and the cocktails were insane 🙂

The following morning we had a Spa Day booked in Apex Hotel (below) which was pure bliss! We all had full use of the facilities plus a 40 minute treatment, prosecco and treats 🙂

The spa uses all Elemis products, I had a neck, back & shoulders massage and it was EXACTLY what you needed after a night out!

Tiger Lily Boutique Bar

My favourite place we went to had to be TigerLily, a Boutique Restaurant and Bar.  As you can see from the photos below this place was beautiful!  Whether you are in a couple, a few friends or a big group of you – you HAVE to visit here if you come to Edinburgh!  Probably one of the most gorgeous bars I have ever been to….

Then onto Angel Shares bar (below) which was again beauuutiful, brilliant live music with a few different performers.

Finishing off the weekend with the delicious food from the Christmas markets there were many mouthwatering stalls serving every tasty thing you can think of. We were once again hungover (standard 🙂 so opted for comfort food mac & cheese which was out of this world!

100000% recommend Edinburgh if you are thinking of somewhere to go that has beautiful historic buildings, cool bars/shops and seriously friendly vibes 🙂
