A healthy dessert recipe – perfect for feeling guilt free in January when everyone is on a health kick!

This is a really tasty but healthy pudding which can be knocked up in minutes and will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth!  Using ingredients which can be found in most people’s cupboards so no fuss involved either 🙂

The sourness of the apple against the sweetness of the honey and raisins is so so good!

Ingredients:

  • Large apple
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Handful of mixed nuts and seeds
  • Handful of raisins
  • Tablespoon of honey
  • Creme fraiche
  • Cinanmon stick (optional)

 

Method:

  • Put the oven onto 180C fan and leave it to warm up
  • Core the apple but leave the bottom intact so that it holds all of the ingredients in
  • Mix the honey, ground cinnamon, nuts, seeds and dried raisins together and put into the space in the centre of the apple
  • Drizzle over a bit more honey and put in the oven for around 20 minutes
  • Sprinkle over a bit of ground cinnamon and serve with creme creche and a cinnamon stick 🙂
